Long time no see

well well well, i feel like i've been living in a cave for the past month, had so much college work its been insane and i've broke my phone, and it's coming up to Christmas so i've been putting quite a few extra hours in at work! although i've got some really exciting ideas, 2014 is gonna be sick if all goes to plan :)

OOTD -SIMPLE AND COSY

Simple outfit of the day, I wear my dogtooth check coat all the time so I'm excited to post an outfit with it, even though if this s a little boring :(
Coat - Charity shop

Top - which you can't see but its just a really simple black vintage top

Jeans - Again you can't see this but they're just simple black skinny jeans from river island

Shoes -Charity shop, I need to stop wearing them, they're a size to small, ouch :(

Bag - Asda, didn't think I would ever fall in love with a bag from George at Asda but love works in a  mysterious way..

MFW: Fausto Puglisi ss14

I think I've found my new favourite designer, I'm in awe of Fausto Puglisi's new collection,it is everything I love wrapped up in one beautiful collection.When it comes to ready-to-wear I love something hat looks a little cool and edgy, and this collection was definitely cool, and the black leather belt bras certainly gave the collection an edgy feel. However the mixture of the leather and rock and roll theme to the collection contrasted stunningly with the bright palm tree paradise print. the Bright prints worked so well with the tough leather and edgy cuts, not an obvious pair but they work so well together. The bright prints could look cheesy,but the leather and the shapes, which remind me slightly of the sixties, make it look very cool, similarly the rock and roll leather could be a bit too much, but the prints and bright colours break it down and don't make it look too 'try hard'. I don't think I could praise Fausto Puglisi any more, I just want all of his collection, in my wardrobe, right now. Below are picture of of favourites looks,all images are off vogues website.

LFW: Temperley London SS14

This season has impressed me a lot, there's so many shows I've cried over because I wasn't there but I'm looking forward to posting and giving my opinion on some of my favourite collection,starting with Temperley London.
  I absolutely adore Temperleys spring summer 14 collection, it was very romantic and feminine which I love, the cuts were beautiful, and the use of satin fabrics was amazing, it gave the looks a very expensive and luxurious feel to them. There were lots of oversized tops which I thought looked really lovely it looked playful and easygoing, but with the satin fabric and rich colours still kept it looking luxurious. There were also quite a few over coats, that I really liked it added to the beauty of the dresses, and gave it a slight casual look.
  The colours and prints of the collection were very romantic with beautiful floral prints rich pinks, lilacs, and creams, but then there was a shocking add of leopard print, which looked fabulous, I didn't think I would like it because I'm not usually a fan of leopard print, I feel it can look cheap and tacky but mixed with classic styles, fabrics and colours of Temperleys collection, it looked stunning, and give the looks quite a fun and cool feel to them.
 To conclude, I love Temperley London. Everything about this collection was perfect, the satins, the chiffon, the prints, the cuts, the embellishment, spring summer 14 is looking very beautiful, bellow I've posted pictures of my favourite looks from the collection (all photos from vogues website).
